CARLOS VELASCO, EXECUTE DIRECTOR

In 2014 I established California Youth Sports Management with a vision to expose young players to different coaching styles and experiences through international camps and tournaments overseas. I wanted to give them the opportunity to compete against players from different regions of the world while immersing them into an atmosphere where they live and breathe soccer. The cultural exchange comes when our players are able to share training, and to compete in a multicultural setting.

What I enjoy most about coaching youth soccer is to see these young players grow and develop not only as soccer players but also as individuals. It is fulfilling to see how kids learn the technical and tactical side of the game itself. At a young age the growth that a player can experience from one year to the next is in many cases exponential.
